In Possession Characteristics of a 4-2-3-1 formation.

The formation has certain 4-4-2 characteristics but uses a withdrawn striker (know as no 10) to play in behind the main striker. Teams will use this formation in different ways. The width in this shape can often come from the full backs who attack on the outside and this allows the wide players to play inside the pitch
